Jason Donovan wowed the Strictly Come Dancing judges for a third week running and confirmed himself as a favourite to win the BBC One show.

The Australian and his dance partner Kristina Rihanoff left the four judges spellbound with a tango to I Will Survive, earning a score of 36 out of 40.

Notoriously difficult to please, Craig Revel Horwood told the actor the performance was "stupendous". Italian judge Bruno Tonioli added: "As camp as Christmas - fantastic." And veteran Len Goodman said: "I am going to call you the midwife because you keep delivering."
