Airbus A380 flight to Los Angeles was delayed

Singapore Airlines operates Airbus A380 aircraft to serve routes from Singapore-Tokyo Narita-Los Angeles starting July 1, 2011.

Public Relations Manager of Singapore Airlines, Glory Henriette, said the launch of the Airbus A380 flight service to Los Angeles was originally schedule on March 27, 2011 postponed to 1 July 2011.

"Postponement of flights to Los Angeles by the earthquake that hit Japan on March 11, 2011, then we changes the schedule to July 1, 2011," said the glory Thursday (14/04/2011).

Los Angeles will become the eighth destination in Singapore Airlines' network will receive the A380 for scheduled service.
