McLaren ran Red Bull close at the last race in Suzuka, even though Lewis Hamilton ran out of time to set a second fast lap, and they have shown some pace in mixed conditions in practice. Fernando Alonso, who won in Korea last year, was hanging onto the coat tails of the McLarens and Mark Webber's Red Bull in final practice but he reckons the Ferrari's inability to warm up its tyres quickly over a single lap could hamper them in the fight for pole."
